Although this doesn’t look like much and its not a great image, it’s a big deal for me as I have wanted to grab one of these since i was a kid.

Type II Supernova designated SN/2024ggi in the Southern Cross Galaxy NGC 3621, it was discovered on the 11/04/24 by ATLAS.
Taken with an old 80mm WO Megrez and optolong L-pro filter from bortle 7-8 Perth
Not the best scope for this and i will try again with the 10" Newtonian if it stays around until it clears here :shrug:
