I had a rather disappointing attempt at imaging the comet last night from the ASV "dark sky" site hear Heathcote. The light pollution dome of Bendigo happens to be exactly due west from there, so despite the sky getting dark after 7pm I could see the subs on the screen getting worse.
For this image I used 45 x 30sec exposures through my DIY Riccardi-Honders and a ZWO ASI2600MC.

Nice image of the comet Stefan - also lots of those annoying satellites in the sky. Regards, John W.

Nice! Good to see some more rolling in...
Yeap it's in that spot where every satellite know to man has to transit!

Thanks all for the comments, but it looks like I need to find a better location for imaging comets near the western horizon.

No cloud, I wish......
That's an amazing image Stefan, better than anything I'll capture with the constant cloud and rain locally. I think I'm just going to give up on the idea of capturing an image of it.
