Well nearly everything.
Years ago I pulled apart a bintel/GSO 8" dob into its parts and threw away the steel tube, my intent at the time was to build a light weight truss dob for travelling but never had the time.
I am selling everything in the photo as one complete set, being:
8" mirror and it's mounting
spider assembly
secondary mirror and fittings for spider
50mm bintel/GSO finder scope
focuser
eyepiece rack
2x tube mounts and tensioner spring
The mirror is in surprisingly good condition for its age but is sold as-is, it has been stored wrapped in glad wrap and when i tested taking it off and cleaning the mirror it looks to be in VGC.
There is nothing else but what is in the photo, pick up only Manly, Sydney.
$120 the lot.
Note: I have no idea what f-ratio the mirror is, whatever the bronze coloured Bintel 8" dobs were in the day, if anyone has one of those scopes can they add a post to this thread as it would be a best guess I suppose.
