Back in the Day ....This Bike was nicknamed .... The Widow Maker .

It was a serious bike for high speed .... 2 stroke / 3 cylinder / 750cc

Open it up in the ' power band ' and you had to hang on for dear life ..... nothing could match it's acceleration and top end speed for a legally registered road bike

Kawasaki 750 Triple .

Not sure on the rockets handling.
Back in the late 70s when I was a teen I got to test ride the Bathurst spec 750H2R. A friend I worked with raced it semi professionally, broke his leg at Bathurst and his wife told him his racing days were over. They had a very young daughter.
This mechanic and very smart engineering minded fellow modified the H2R and got it registered. It was a little down on power with the different pipe but not much. I rode it along the then new section of F4 freeway in Penrith (it went to Prospect), grabbed a handful of throttle at around 140mph and was searching for God (staring at the heavens). I returned the bike (an option to buy it cheap), I was 17 and had a brand new Honda 750/4, pulled up with a grin from ear to ear and told him I'd probably be dead within a week if I purchased his bike.
I always regret my decision!
Not so fond of the Suzuki water bottle, I didn't find the water bottle near as fast as the H2.
A school friend had a 500MKII from memory, his grandfather purchased it for him as a farm bike when he was 15 or so. INSANE!
