Nice.

It's a shame they are in flash.. I can't convert them to anything that will play on my media player, which is a shame. I'm not going to have time to sit around at home watching them, but if I could get them on my media player that would be useful.

Roger.

I have just tried to upload my video and it won't accept it. It says the file name is too long

How can I change a file name that starts with C:\Documents and Settings\Ken\MyDocuments\MyVideos etc etc?

Ken, the "C:\Documents and Settings\Ken\MyDocuments\MyVideos" is simply the path to the file, and it has no bearing on the file name. You will probably have to rename the actual video clip's name itself to something shorter like "Ken01.avi" before uploading it.

Or if it is forcing the use of the full path (strange?) copy the video to your root directory (C:\) and try to upload it from there?

I did

ummmm . . . . what?

I no spikka da pooter talk.

Even though I have shortened the file name it is using the FULL name in the download window: C:\Documents and Settings\Ken\My Documents\My Videos\WebcamAstrophotographyPt1

Weird re the name. However, to talk through the above. Put a copy of the file on your desktop and rename it to whatever short name you want. Open Windows Explorer. Expand "My Computer" and you should see, amongst the items "Local Disk (C:)" unless it's been renamed. But you are looking for the one which is "(C:)". Drag and drop your file from the desktop onto this "(C:)". Open C: and you should see your file in this directory. If yes, then you have shortened the file name, including path, as much as you can - to C:\filename. Try uploading again and point the upload window at this file in C:

Hope that works - though I cannot understand what is happening?

 I still don't understand a word of what you just said.

I like the way it changed all my " : )" to smiley faces

At that point, I have to give up  and go home. Remember the Homer Simpson motto - If you don't try in the first place then you'll never know the pain of failure!
