hey everyone
managed to fix my scope turns out i was heating the primary mirror with a dew strap when thats a no no. performance from the scope has been great and im now very happy with it! had lots of clear nights as of late managed to get this shot in three of them.
roughly 13hrs intergration

That's a fine image Jordan but I'm curious about the designation, HJ4161, it would suggest that it is a double star from the John Herschell catalogue, not a nebula. What resource did you get the info from.

Hi again Jordan, the closest match I could find for the nebula object is Gum 23, HJ4161 is the brightest star at top centre in your image. Hope that helps.

I got the name from nina in framing assistant and sequencer labelled the image frame as hj4161. I also had Ic4628 the prawn was labelled as vdbh75 while imaging in nina sequencer :shrug:
Edit: I use a 10" newt 250pds qhy268c eq8 tsgpu and a bunch of assessories
