Given it's nearly the anniversary of the 2023 TSE, I've been digging through my Exmouth Eclipse data, looking at new ways to process the data.
So many filter routines unfortunately add a false "bas-relief" effect to the corona plus trash the
brightness variation from inner to outer Corona.
Using Pixinsight's many tools, plus Druckmuller's NAFE routine I think I may have managed my goal....
well... for the inner corona at least....but so much more to do in extending out to a few solar radii.
An early "new" processing result is here (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery644.html)
Hope you enjoy the view.
