Been awhile since I have attempted any form of imaging, last attempt was in 2005. Back in those days I was using a Logitech Pro Webcam initially and later a Lumenera Lu075 Camera in conjunction with a 10' Meade LX200 Classic, no new-fangled cameras like today.

Both attempts are just early efforts as I am ironing out the bugs in the system, the usual: collimation, weather, capture software, processing etc. Setup is a 12" Meade LX200 GPS, ZWO ASI224MC, both images capture at prime focus as the weather was not great for high magnification. Just chose random feature to practice on. Did fine the feature names after the fact.

Cheers

Anthony

Hi Anthony
Good to see you back shooting our lunar friend! The ZWO is certainly a step up from the bad old webcam days and it’s great to be part of the progress and to use this amazing technology.
I pretty much always shoot at prime focus. The seeing has to be magnificent to bung on a Barlow or any other enhancer.
