A selection of shots taken on 21st Feb. Very stable/transparent sky but also a variable blanket of mid/high clouds. I had to adjust gain mid-capture on a few of these just to maintain a good histogram.

I came out with quite a mixed bag and included a few areas I've not really focussed on before. I particularly enjoyed scouring what remains of the crater wall of Sinus Iridium. There was quite a bit of detail on show and at high magnification through the eyepiece almost felt like I was looking straight at the wall as it rose out of the bay.

Schiller
Hainzel
Plato along with some peaks in Mare Imbrium
Sinus Iridum
Some lunar wrinkles that I'm yet to properly identify

AS!3, Registax6
10ms, 3min captures, best 2%

Thanks for dropping by!!

Sharp shots, Dave, especially Schiller.

Regarding the wrinkle ridges with no name: Of the 39 named Dorsa, none are near these which extend around crater Marius. Of interest though are the Marius Hills, a concentration of Lunar Domes, volcanic in origin, which are clustered here and a few can be seen in your picture although most are still beyond the terminator at this stage. I've attached a quick snap I took (well, OK, the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter took it :D) of the Hills from vertical.
