Here is Nessun Dorma (https://youtu.be/YdkwoEHTTg0) from Giacomo Puccini's opera, Turandot, performed by Andrew Alesi (AA) at a friend's wedding....

There's a short 10sec intro of Bride & Groom.

A nicely stated rendition  nice video too.

I've woken a few distant neighbourhood dogs, when at my observatory, a few times with that aria in the past! :D also the ending of Vesti la giubba and O Sole Mio :D

Thanks Mike. We'll have to organize a duet:D.

As for Vesti la giubba, believe it or not ( I still don't) our youngest, Steven recorded this version at 13 years old...

Vesti la giubba (https://youtu.be/z_rARAaZ5ws?si=L6pmfq9iLSK02zAY) <<<It's Steven's voice set against a montage of images of clowns and various famous artists in the role.

Gee 13 years old huh? Very cool

He he, I recall my first "public" performance...at my Mum and Dad's 25th wedding anniversary, back in 1981, when I was 13 years old, I sang Toreador for them (Dad is Italian), super nervous, boys didn't sing in those days, that was for girls...buuut they seemed to like it :)..not sure I sounded as good as Steven though...  pretty much gave up on the girly singing after that...until 1990 when I heard The Three Tenors and thought, shight, I can kinda do that  :)

Good on you Mike. That's a beautiful memory and very gutsy at that age.

Give the lad a jolly well done! :2thumbs:

Maybe it's the acoustics, or maybe it's the speakers I have, but there were one or two passing moments that had me thinking of Pavarotti.
