I grabbed 40 X 300sec frames last night on NGC5128. Despite my neighbors best efforts to shine their 3rd story light into my telescope, I was able to capture fairly dark skies (for Bayside) because of the new moon,
19 X 300s R
9 X 300s G
12 X 300s B
ASI2600MM
GSO RC8-CF with J.Bunn modified back plate
Pixinsight + PS
why the erratic numbers? -of course, clouds...

Very nice Hamburger indeed Mark, lovely fine bits and pieces throughout and look at that halo, good stuff
The conditions up at Egalview were excellent last night and we had our big 18" dob out and this baby looked unreal! The seeing was pretty good (we were using powers up to 1100X) but the transparency was unreal, the halo was huge and we were able to trace the dark dust lane that extends out into the halo and there were lots of bright bits inside the dark band, a mighty fine view it was

I can’t even imagine conditions like that, Mike. Must have been fantastic!

Yeah it was, we could see both of the small spirals next to M83, one without averted vision! The Horsehead was direct vision too, without any filter! The core of NGC1365 was clearly split into two lobes, with mottling in the bar and arms, M104 was totally 3D and the Orion Nebula was breathtaking, was a vivid green with some subtle ruddyness in the there two, magnificent

Looking good Mark. Adding some Ha is beneficial to NGC5128.

I’ve got the data! But I don’t know how to add it to RGB. Need to find a pic insight tutorial.

Excellent image of Centaurus A , really nice fine detail and just enough halo
Some more data would definitely expose more blue along the edges of the main spiral plain
Well done !!
I feel your pain with neighbours lights , I’ve put up with it for years at my main residence in Sydney ( have a look at my backyard most nights , equivalent to Bortle 12 , and they stay on with no one in their yard , sometimes until after midnight ) The joys of living in a huge City.
Broadband imaging under my Bortle 8 skies and flood lit yard is almost a waist of time , but I do give it a whirl during new moon when objects are well placed
Cheers

Holy cow - I was not expecting what I saw when I clicked on that thumb nail.
Would love a closer look at the original full res image.
