Had a go at the Dolphin Head Nebula a few nights back
sh2-308
Skywatcher Esprit 150
iOptron CEM120
asi2600mc no filters
88 x 180 second exposures for a total of close to 4.4 hours imaging time.
Flats, darks, bias
Processed and stacked all in PixInsight.
Had a bit of an issue with a bad halo on the bright star, after a few hours playing around trying to figure things out with PixInsight and the pixel math, I have got this image,
I am sure it can be improved on, just still working my way through PixInsight.
Next time i think i would reduce the exposure times a bit to see if that improves halo issues.
Looks very grainy on here, but don't have an Astrobin account to show a larger full version.

Peter,
You have certainly got the structure coming through quite nicely and considering no filters were used I think you have maxed out what is possible thus far.
This field is rich in OIII and Ha in some parts so as you would no doubt acknowledge, more data in NB would most definitely help.
Still a beautiful capture-

That’s really nice Peter! Loving that detail and colour! Some narrowband data would certainly give it a boost as Anthony has mentioned

Appreciate the comments.
I have just to really find a good narrowband filter that is suited to the asi2600mc.
So far all my imaging has been done with no filters at all.

The optolong L-Ultimate will fulfil that gap it is an excellent filter.
