First time taking some nightscape photos, no post processing just a crop of original photos.

Peppy Beach caravan park near Capel WA
Canon R6 MKII, RF 24mm f/1.8, 20 second exposure
Please be gentle :)

Nice one John. Great effect painting light on the tree but what in the hell did you use to do it? Your car's led spotties and Light Bar? By the looks of its brightness, you wouldn't have needed them on for very long!

Michael

I did nothing, it was about 10pm at night, I was standing in a field that was near the caravan park (Peppy Beach near Busselton) and it was the residual light from there. All I did was take the photos with the settings I had read might work:

ISO: 3200
Exposure: 20 seconds
Aperture: 1 setting above minimum of lens

My first time giving nightscape photography a try, and happy with the results :D

Cheers, John

You would have to be happy with the results as a first attempt, they look amazing!

Lovely 'tree' night-scape John, exposure is solid

I like both angles,, but wow an amazing tree for a foreground with a lightning scene too :cool2:

Please continue with your nightscapes 'art'! It's not just the captured image, it's the eye and thought behind it. LOVE these
