Howdy !
The weather cleared for me on friday night and I took the opportunity to get out in the backyard after weeks of overcast conditions . I'm still having issues with RA aggressiveness and lost a lot of subs due to eccentricity and low SNR . Still working on it .

I had an "Enhance" pollution filter and decided to pop it on the scope but there seemed to be a lot of extra noise in post proccessing . Not sure if it was from the filter or the 3 minute subs .

The screen captures below aren't a great representation .
I started out in the east with the Torch Bearer nebula . NGC3576
https://www.astrobin.com/jdbvps/

5 x 180s lights out of 56
20 x 180s darks
20 x 2s flats
20 x .01s bias

The Horse Head nebula was in view at 3am and I managed to get 7 180s subs and picked the best 2 out of a bad bunch . Don't look too closely .

ASIDeepStack 10 minutes .
Pixinsight . Histogram transformation to correct colour imbalance , Generalised Hyperbolic Stretch , StarX , NoiseX , BlurX .
Lightroom
Pixinsight . Pixelmath

Some nice detail in the images, The Horse head came out well and no halos is a plus.

Am I reading your post correctly? Ngc3576 was 21mins exposure and the Horsehead just 6 mins exposure with an "Enhance" pollution filter? That is quite something at f7. How did you get colour with the 6200MM pro and that filter? Clever processing utilising those three exterminator plugins has produced some nice shots with limited data input.

Hi Peter !
Some nice details but the stars in the Torch Bearer look a little anemic though . The Horse Head looks nice at a glance . Some stars are doubles : )

Hi Michael !
5 x 3 = 15 minutes for Ngc3576 and 6 minutes for the Horse head using the enhance filter . I removed the filter this afternoon . Possibly too noisy .

My apologies , the camera is a ZWO ASI6200MC PRO COLOUR .

That's all it is . Clever processing .

Yeah, OK I got confused with the 7 x 180 for the Horsehead but you only used 2 subs of that set. It makes 15 mins for ngc3576 even more amazing. You've got a great workflow to extract such good shots with so little data.

Really nice considering the amount of data however it probably comes at the cost of your oiii. Both those targets should have more colour to them, but with your setup it just needs more time.

It really is a very simple process .

Yeah right . I'd get more data if I could . Managed to reduce my RA axis problems a little last night .
