Dead Meade DSI III

I'm trying to obtain a dead Meade DSI III camera case for a project I'm playing with.
If anyone has one with a dead anything inside (case intact) it's just the case I'm after, mono or colour, I'm not fussy. I have no requirement for any of the contents.


I have an Elbex speed camera (former speed camera) and it has 2 CCD sensors, I'd love to fit one with associated electronics into a case and the DSI 3 had a similar sized electronics. I have a working DSI 1 and DSI 2 here which I wouldn't strip out for the project and a non functional DSI 3 here which has been modified and it's case is just right but I'd like one with the rear cover intact if I can find one.
It could just be a waste of time too, who knows.
The Elbex speed cameras had amazing low light capabilities so the police departments could heavily punish all of us naughty speeding motorists but, as an entire unit is just too large and cumbersome to take out. It does have alt/az drive capabilities though.

Hi Leo. Are you still looking for a DSI case? I have one from a DSI Pro 2. I assume the DSI 3 case would be the same as the DSI 2 case? It took me a month to find where I'd put it. I retired it over 12 months ago. The nose piece has been shortened to remove the filter slot so I could achieve focus while using it as a guide cam, but it sounds like you are only interested in the rear cover anyway.
