A successful mission...but a little crest-fallen to see
today's NASA APOD featured a very similar image. :doh:

Thanks gentlemen....This was a rare transit due the relatively large angular size of the ISS as it orbited almost directly overhead.

But...gee...it gets warm out west!

The camera body ended up uncomfortably hot to touch...but amazingly kept
ticking away.

:thanx: APOD's are fickle things. Not sure about
the negative sun rendered with a positive ISS :question: but it is certainly a different spin.

Like transits, it's all about right place, right time. ;)
