This is an image of NGC7098 which is a double barred spiral galaxy.

It lies at a distance of 90 million light years in the constellation of Octans.

There are other really cool looking galaxies in the back ground too.

The diffraction spike which is at 45 degrees had me baffled until I took a look directly at the second mirror. Which had two streaks of bird droppings across it. Once removed the diffraction spike disappear.

Great image Paul! If the bird had slightly better aim you would have had JWST diffraction spikes 😂

Lovely image Paul, you have preserved the star colours to, which I like.

Fascinating structures in this galaxy Paul. Most unusual and engaging.
