On the night of 28th Sept, while getting shots of the 98% 'supermoon' ,
(I hate that term!) , I captured this by lucky accident.


I thought, he's gonna go close, I better be ready!
Got 3 shots @ 1/1250 sec , the exposure I had set for the moon.
This one being the clearest.


FlightRadar24 showed the heavy as a DHL Freight Boeing 767
rego G-DHL-J (UK)


Singapore to Melbourne at 35,000 ft.

Nice one Steve, I'm hoping that darkish trail from behind the aircraft is air vapour and not exhaust fumes. They better take the plane out of service if it's expelling that much muck out the back!

For astronomy sites, I stick to the technical terms "Perigee / Apogee"
We tend to be a slightly more sophisticated crowd... :P:D
