Does anyone have any experience in setting up the GSO, 3 inch Newtonian focuser on a GS-800 10” Newtonian?
The focuser seems to be a weak link at the moment. It seems the images are often not being focused because the focuser doesn’t move because I have a heavy imaging rig (asi 2”x8 wheel+OAG+asi2600mm ). It seems I can always tighten the pressure and the system works again, but it’s often a few hours images until
I notice the problem.
Does anyone use this focuser with this sort of load? What did you do to get it to work?
