Magneficent Seven in the SMC

NGC 267 and friends nestled in the northern region of the SMC. Lots of little treasures in the magellanic clouds!

HaHOORGB effort with around 33.5 hrs nb and 2 hrs rgb.

Glad you’re getting some sky time ( I’ve been at my Bortle 3 Site ( Dome ) for nearly 2 weeks and managed only 2 half nights plus cloud and showers for the next 5 days , bugger )

Indeed, a rare week of clear skies was a blessing and at this time of year and moon cycle there really wasnt anything other than the magellanic clouds to point the scope at - worked out alright! :) Best wishes for clear skies in your dark site, the BOMs crystal ball says this might be one of the better years for us on the east coast!

Thanks Andy! Ahh gracias for the framing comment! I've finally embraced the less is more mantra and chopped out the parts of the NGC 292 region I got in the frame to focus on just this group.

I can see where you're coming from with the Ha dominance. The lots of blue in the star layer, which when re-blended with the narrowband muted alot of the fainter Ha and led me to a balancing act that I may not have gotten quite right. I think I told myself that because I could see black space regions in the very top left and right of the frame that I'd not pushed it too far :P Duly noted, thanks for the suggestion! :)
