Pity I didn't think of using an inverted disk for the transform that
got me some cred at Royal Greenwich this year.........anyway...
Ver 2.0 is here (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery628.html)
More art than science? Maybe, but the transforms are reproduceable as opposed to arbitrary.
I really like it.
Hope you do too.
I like it too Peter.
Well done.

Well I like it,,, it would make a nice large poster size print.
I like pork chops too.
Well its Kosher because it's reproducible not arbitrary Peter, which is what i like.
Some things take time to catch on.

Nice bit of innovation there Peter. It does show the prominences more clearly.

Thanks Greg. As I mentioned earlier, it only really pops when you have extended proms and good seeing which allows the re-map to look reasonably sharp in the corners. Any blur is increasingly emphasised from centre to edge, hence this doesn't work too well with mushy data.

I do quite like it too - it's a very striking image indeed, and it's nice the way the eye is drawn inwards.
