Hi Martin,

Have just built the interface, but need a serial to USB converter, as the laptop doesn't have a serial port :(. Dave Ek's sight reckons that not all of these converters work, but doesn't go so far as to recommend one.

Have you used a converter, or have you stuck to serial?

Any other clever readers solved this problem? I would be delighted to hear from you

Cheers,
Keith

Hi Keith.
I have stuck to serial because both my computer and pocket pc work with that.
It is true that some serial to usb cables work and i think that the bintel serial to usb cable will work as in the ad it says fully compliant (bintel has an good return policy :) ).
Hope this helps.
Cheers Martin.
