Hi all, here's a set of Jupiter images from late Thursday night taken in moderate to good seeing. It shows a fairly quiet region of the planet, a little preceding the Great Red Spot in longitude. Io is in transit. Some decent detail in the methane band, with the dark jet spots on the South Temperate Belt visible, and a few higher latitude details too. Seeing was best for the IR & methane band images, a bit ordinary for RGB.

All taken a few hours before I had some very nice (https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap230825.html) astro news :D

Not too shabby at all! The IR shot has some lovely detail in it.
But hot damn…that set of Saturn images is something to behold- some absolutely masterful imaging and congrats for the well deserved recognition!!

Thanks for posting Andy, great to see Jupiter images again. Congrats on the APOD Saturn composite, hard to get any better than that for detail, unless you have access to Hubble or a fly by.
