How sad it is, when a Windows lock screen image of the Moon, on a TV screen, is more accessible for a budding astronomer than the real thing.

How even sadder it is when you can't see the innocence of a child who uses her imagination and child like fun to view the moon as she does here....she's probably thrilled to bits ...!!

There are times when I would love to have the innocence of a child again...but the world we live in especially after your comments , spoils everything and takes away the joy of the moment.

Just one thing, and I know it's a mock-up, but the telescope (probably 5-600mm focal length) wouldn't I don't feel, be in focus at that distance to the TV some 2-3m away. I know it's not the point of the photo, but just sayin' - don't worry, for those that do, it isn't a credible use of the telescope. Maybe some low powered binos or a magnifier.

Still she could have turned off the lights to reduce light pollution:D:D:D
