Quite low down in the sky imaged at 25ish degrees. This object is a good representation of a classic reflection nebula, showing pinks and blues, its such a nice honest object. Over shadowed by its more popular neighbour The Lagoon Nebula it doesn't get a s much attention. Imaged remotely from Spain with the ASA12N f3:6 and the asi2600mm pro.
Imaged in RGB 90x 120s in each filter

Thanks for looking

Thank you Mike....There are 15 in total that I control and keep maintained in Spain. All of which I have setup and refurbished, three scopes are my own design that I have built myself. Out of the 15 I use 11, the other 4 are for exclusive use, then I have my old trusty AG12 at home ..., I am currently building a 20in that will hopefully go to Chile along with a couple of other medium and short FL.... Cant wait to get some of your Southern views...very excited about that.....I might be putting a couple in Australia if Chile goes smoothly.. lets see....I feel like I need to pinch myself sometimes .....Its been a huge amount of work for myself and a good friend of mine....but I am very proud if I'm being honest and not easy to do.

Here are a few pics of the kit in Spain and the Observatories

There are a limited number of syndicate members on some of the piers who have access to the data sets and can request jobs. The other piers are on hourly that anyone can use and that becomes exclusively their own data..... but I use which ever pier I want to....
I run, control and maintain the scopes with a friend of mine.

Thanks Dave....I have them set up to run unattended, starting up in the evening and shutting down in the morning with moon avoidance and weather etc....I just need to keep them loaded up with work to do...that's the trick ;)

Not just me then ;)
