I was rather chuffed to receive a copy of the Dutch publication "Heelal"
or "Universe" in English. I did not know it existed until very recently and it was nice to see they run a print edition. Given the demise of AS&T, a rare bird these days!
It is their monthly magazine of the Association for Astronomy, Meteorology, Geophysics and Related Sciences who featured one of my Exmouth eclipse images in the latest issue.
Thankfully there are many web based translation services, which allowed me to read the Dutch perspective on the event.
I was bemused to glean that they too thought the WA authorities were over-the-top with their crowd control, road and park closures for the eclipse.
None the less, it seems a good time was still had by all and this made a nice addition to my bookshelf.
