Hi Peter,
that's an excellent picture -
the bright nebula, the dusty regions and then the dark nebula
all give the picture a lot of interesting features.
We can't see that nebula from Southern Australia.
cheers

Beautiful image of a really interesting field Peter , the dust particularly looks good, always good when that is the case :) dust is so cool in images  bit like string (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-lyA2id5aY)...dust, dust, dust dust, eeeverybody loves dust :D

Excellent image well done. The way that dust contrasts against the Ha backdrop is just marvellous.

Gorgeous image. As others have said lovely ‘string’ and contrast with the Ha, bright nebula and colorful stars.

Thanks Alan, there's so much down South that we just cant get here...one day
Cheers Mike....I love these dusty regions there so much of it in Perseus, makes a real interesting part of the sky (this one is in Cyg)...that vid was a blast from the past mate...Bill Oddy and the crew back in the day, love it!!
Thank you...I think the Ha back drop really make the dust hang there
The stars in this field are a bit of a night mare ...everything else can very easily get lost
:D I could say the same thing about soooo many objects down South...I guess the grass is always greener on the other side ;)
Thank you...yes I decided the have the camera this way around when fitting it but to be honest the field is so wide and with 9000 by 7000 odd pixels the camera can be cropped to fit most things....it just kills the PC when processing...this data set was just over 14Gb and took 3days of processing...some of the process iterations took up to three hours each to do....:eyepop: I had to keep walking away and leaving it to do it...I drunk a lot of tea
Thank you Nikolas
