Design program needed

Just wondering if anyone has a copy of a good and easy to use design program.

I am going to build a slide off roof observatory at home and need a program to design it.

I can't help with the software, but Brad Moore has the plans for his 2.4 x 3.6 metre roll off roof observatory as a free download from his webpage if you want some pre-made plans:

I don't know what it's like but here's a free CAD program (http://www.cadstd.com/). If that doesn't suit google freeware CAD software, there are many packages available.

Surely someone out there has a good 3d program.. Where are all the architects, Builders and designers?
