take at the same settings as the last lot (gain about 50%, brightness 50%, cant remember speed, 10fps...)

I have worked out gausian blur thanks to Rob K. over on SCP....

quite happy with this improvement.

the seeing was about 6-7/10 i am guessing and each pic consists of about 450 frames.:thumbsup:

Pic 3 is my fave, but I also like 5 for image scale.

The colour looks good and the processing not too harsh.

All you need to do now is rotate them (in Registax, or whatever sw you're using) so you've got either north or south at top.

Or don't. It's up to you.:)

Nice work Dave, I like #3 best too. You should rotate your Toucam before you start capturing, so that the equatorial belts are horizontal and south is at top (my preferred orientation). It only takes a second to do it before capturing.

Is it possible to zip up an avi and upload it so I can take a look? I might be able to offer some more suggestions if I see the raw data..

the avi for these is unfortunately rather defective. I had my synscan controller cable crossing over the toucams and it was giveing some sort of interference, the result being that of the 900 odd frames caught registax could only align a hand full because the box would start jumping around. the frames themselves arent too bad tho. so what i did was put the avi thru virt dub and ppm center (or whatever its called) before going thru registax.
for some reason registax will only take 500 bmps so i could only use the first 500 frames. this is with registax4... i have now d/l vers 3 to see if that makes any difference. alas i probably wont be able to try it for a few days.

zipping the avi might be a bit hard. its fairly bigish and we have used up our bb quota at home so we are at dailup speeds (lol)
