What a lovely bit of work Adam, on a really cool looking object, lovely colour and well framed...it should be imaged more often than it is really :confuse3: too may brighter brethren nearby I guess?

Great image Adam.

Excellent depth and detail and you've maintained excellent star colours which really rounds out the image.

Nice one! A really interesting view!! I spent a bit of time a few weeks ago just zooming around this whole area and experimenting with framing various features. There’s just so much there no matter what focal leech your shooting at

Thanks guys!!

Mike and Pete:
It definitely suffers from the cheerleader effect this one, just up the road from the amazing prawn :) The framing was part of the reason I went with this target, really fits well into my fov.
I did try a little harder on star colour this time and used a mix of arcsinh and GHS stretching which I think balanced out the edge softening you usually get with arcsinh. Thanks for noticing :) It was a good learning experience for me with continuum subtraction and I'll definitely be doing some more HaRGB images in future!

Youre absolutely right Dave, I been checking out the Milky Way Explorer website and the Ha survey data they have there. If you're willing to spend some decent integration time, theres quite a bit of good stuff off the beaten track to be had :) I imagine you'd run amok with your hyperstar setup :)
