Imbattibile (Unbeatable)

Imbattibile (Unbeatable), well that's the way it tastes!

I call it an Italianese - Italian / Chinese fusion dish. I have always wanted to order this when out for Chinese dumplings, but alas it's not available and I got crazy looks when I asked. I even said to the family that next time we were out I'd BYO the Napoletana sauce to the Chinese Restaurant .... more crazy looks :D:D:D

So: forget the restaurant, go home, close the door and have ,I like to think, MY Imbattibile. It's Chinese style pork dumplings (steamed & browned a little) replacing the normal ravioli served with a rich Napoli sauce heavy on the garlic, dressed with fennel and Pecorino Romano.

The Japanese call it Gyoza. You can buy it in ALDIs and do with it what you like at home. Go wild and be adventurous.
