Got a new SVbony SV220 7nm dual band filter for the 2600.
Quick bash on the Star Queen. Love this framing.

I'm very impressed given the price.

I've not heard of this filter, John, and you've produced a very a very nice image for quick bash (the framing and FOV with the 2600MC and EON85 are awesome). The stars looked well controlled and I can't see any obvious halos; have you tried it on any of the brighter stars to see how it handles reflections/halos? If there are none, then that would be a distinct advantage over the L-extreme in addition to being significantly cheaper. I have an Antlia ALP-T Ha-Oiii filter and I've not seen any halos, but it's significantly more expensive than the SV220.

What is the focal length of your EON? Slower than f/5?

Same. I was going to get a ZWO - because they're cheap and I don't need to block LP but it was the 7nm that made me throw caution to the wind. Sorry, it definitely does have halos, I meant to post it too.

Native the eon is f/6.6 (560mm) and with the reducer 5.3 (450mm)

Same SPCC/ezSS treatment. The star crop is at full res

Congrats on some great images and good to see an affordable dual band option that seems to perform quite well. Even some of the more expensive options have halo issues

Cheers Dave. It Does seem to have some LP blocking ability, this was a few subs into the light dome of a truck stop off in the distance.

Great images John. Particularly your truck stop.

Cheers Alex, I finally noticed the bright star just out of shot so I reframed for it but lost the lot in the trees

That’s an excellent result for NGC7000 noting the truck-stop’s LP and the target’s relatively low skim across the northern horizon. How much integration time was that, John?

No probs, that doesn’t seem too bad and should/would buff out in PS. Thanks for letting me know. Alex

Sorry I did mean to say, 18x180s and it got a touch of BX
I was hoping to make a proper job of it but plans have been foiled by the clouds.
