Eternal

Well this is my fourth attempt at astrophotography and I'm finally happy. Even though it was 3/4 moon last night the skies were a hell of a lot darker than anything I could get in Bankstown.
Eta Carina - 60 x 30s ISO 1600, 10 darks, 5 offsets, no flats (still building my lightbox), unguided (couldn't get mu webcam working last night - ggrrrr)
Omega Centauri - 20 x 15s ISO 1600, 10 darks, 5 offsets, not flats, unguided.
All photo's stacked and aligned in DeepSky Stacker and processed in Photoshop CS2 and Noiseware Community Edition.
Eternal, they sure came out well for such short exposures, nice work, you have certainly got the hang of it.
Cheers Leon

Wonderful shots there, I am amazed at what can be done with lots of short exposures. Beautiful colour on EC and nice detail in both pics.
Very nice
What scope / camera were you using?

Great shots. The Eta Carina shot nice and red, as if taken with a modded camera :)
