It'd be f7.5 x 4 x 2 = 60.

Nice stuff Bill. Any reason you used hte ED80 instead of the SN-8?
You had a great night out under the stars!
Now that is close Bill, great stuff.

Re: the SN-8. I'm having the Dickens of a time collimating the thing. I can get it close, but no cigar. :( I've been so busy the last four months digging drainage (after the house near flooded on New Years Eve) that I haven't had any opportunity until recently to take some astro images, so I just wanted to put a camera or scope up to the sky and get some shots. The camera lenses and the ED80 are very quick to setup and the ED80 is very versatile... Using the ED80 I got another night out under the stars (correction - moon).
Soon I might get some time to try recollimating the SN-8. Everyone tells me how easy it is to collimate a Schmidt Newtonian, but for me, so far, it never has been.

Wow another image with very well defined features. That little ED80 is gold.
