Stargate Atlantis

All of you Stargate SG1 fans, how are you going with the Atlantis series? Do you like it as much as SG1? don`t like it? better than SG1? much the same?. What are your thoughts??
I think it is great and can`t get enough of it.

It's a bit tame. As are the characters.
SG1 had more action a wider spread of locations and the characters were more developed.
Atlantis gives you the feel of watching a show produced on a set.

It's not as good as SG-1 but I still like it. The characters and stories aren't as interesting yet, but with time it'll get better and hopefully run for many years to come.

I miss Teal'c, the new show has the token alien but this lacks the overall spectacle of the war with the Gould.

Bring back SG1

i have seen all of season 1 of atlantis and the latest SG series...
atlantis will do some cross overs with star gate and vice versa.. they didnt show the entire season of the latest star gate on channel 7 because of the atlantis crossovers...

i much prefer atlantis over SG1.. but do enjoy them both!

not a spoiler.. but watch out for....


one episode of star gate that wasnt shown here in australia yet... (it has nothing to do with thel storyline).. has the actress claudia black in it (from pitch black, and farscape)... i kinda hope they bring her character back in some later seasons!

heheheh i just wish australian television would catch up to whats shown in america and england!

however we were ahead of the US for showing SG1 towards the end of the season, but where a week behind england!

Atlantis is very good I'm enjoying it.:D

I do prefer SG1. I like Daniel and Jack.

But maybe as Atlantis grows on us it will be just as good.:)

The opening theme in Atlantis is great better than SG1.
