NGC6744 and The Sombrero Galaxy taken in May this year and finally processed considering the amount of time with each. (two hours each) My first time using the 533mc Pro I won in the Optolong competition a while back
I don't normally photograph Galaxies and I have a long way to go, I had a lot of issues with focus shift as the focuser on my scope so lost quite a few subs

Well despite the setbacks congrats on the first light and not bad at all for the relatively short integration. From memory you're shooting from the city? It is really tough with so much light pollution and the resultant noise floor is seriously oppressive. I notice you shot all the subs with the L-Pro...I found when I shot galaxies with a LP filter I found I lost some detail (even though contrast was great). Something to consider: do another run with just UV/IR filter and add it as a second session in APP and stack together with the original L-Pro data. If my hunch is correct, it may give you a better detail/colourt result than just another few hours with the L-Pro.

Thanks Dave, great advice I will try it with the UV ircut and see how that goes. Cheers
