It’s been nearly 3 years without imaging for me, although I did get away for a weekend last month with our local club and the Blue Mountains club to a dark sky site.

I managed 22 hours in 3 nights, had some guide issues that I managed to narrow down to flexure, one damn Allen bolt on my upper losmandy plate was loose, my OAG came to the rescue.

I went with my favourite palette, Foraxx, which I wrote a PixInsight script for that seems to be reasonably popular. Taking the heart was a real challenge and I relied heavily on the power of GHS for that task. BlurX, NoiseX and StarX were used in the processing.

Nice one Paul despite the equipment gremlins. I recently started my mono journey and your script has been a great help :)

Detail is amazing Paulie, Ive been experimenting with your Foraxx palette, still working out a few things, more my data than anything as I shoot OSC mainly, your videos have been invaluable

Great image - love the colour and tonnes of detail. And yes I'm also very keen user of your Foraxx palette utility and many vids.:thumbsup:
Great that you've been able to start imaging again!

Nice image! The link goes to a "thumb" picture. Any chance of a link to the astrobin page?

Link updated, not sure why it was navigating to the thumbnail rather than the Astrobin page.

Lovely image, Paul. So much detail to see amongst all the subtle tones and colours...
