Well, with the Jupiters re-appearing, it seems like better seeing is around. Some wonderful images there folks!

My offering is a Jupiter/moons/GRS/shadow transit animation from last night, using images taken with a NexImage through my small reflector. First go at animation, and went with a wmv rather than gif because I wanted to put titles etc in. The link below will take you to the animation link - image info is on this linked page and in the animation (420kb). There was a big stuff-up when my lap-top siezed up after I'd taken the first set of AVIs - eventually I had to pull the battery, and it meant that 1/2 hr rather than the intended 1/4 hr sequence had to be used.

Anyway, Mike's in no danger of being toppled from his IIS animation perch!:P

That is a ripper Rob. For me it really represents what sort of image you would see through a 4" scope using high power. Great stuff.

You've put a lot into it and it shows with the results you got. Well done.

Rob, thanks, I like that - nice with titles explaining what we are seeing. :)
