I feel colour blindness has advantages as playing around with this I found a colour scheme I like...This came from some experiments in various things and usually I dont post these really odd outcomes but today why not:lol::lol::lol:...

Various things went wrong because I had to rotate the camera before all filters did their thing and so a filter was missing and so it became a play around in photo shop..the detail shows promise however..

edit..another one:D

I'm not bothered by the colours as they make both images look like clouds, but eh amount of detail to behold is fantastic...

Very well done!

Well thank all of you for being so kind you are all very nice.

Now that I am a little rested I must say my disappointment coming from one channel being un usable caused me to go overboard as I thought that I would get more data tonight however I was just too tired...

I was going to post my S11 and my O11 images and solicite opinion as to which was which:D and present two versions swapping channels ..But it was great fun processing these images because their quality was terrible...just so grainy and I was tempted to just throw them all out and start over..why so grainy? because I had used gain of 300 and subs of 120 seconds ( too long for 300g I feel) in an effort to grab detail and get sharpness with short exposures...Anyways that is part of the story.
Alex.

Alex, pretty sure that I have seen a gain chart that was published for that camera. It was linked on Cloudy Nights Forum a whole back. I will keep an eye out for it.

Well I really dont know again about the colour but I used the data for this object to try some different things with my processing..I used Luminance , HA to red and O11 to blue...even without anything in the green channel at first I got heaps of green??????..anyways playing around this was to me the best result...actually it was probably better 30 minutes ago but I just could not stop trying things in Photoshop:P.
Thru the Askar 130, and approx 15 hours of exposure.

the photo wont upload!!!!

Nice Alex, I think it brought out some finer details in the outer parts.

Thanks John however the colour issue remains...however on the bright side I think detail does seem better but is it real or a product of pushing the dials I wonder?
