Post previews & quote issues?

I've noticed that on occasions if I preview a post I'm writing or try to quote a post the editor opens with an empty text box. Same with private messages, sometimes the message getting replied to is automatically quoted, other times the text box is empty. Not sure if this is site related or a browser issue (Firefox on Win 10). Oh, it has also happened when I try to edit a post in the classifieds, even just to change the status.

I have the same issue on occasion. If you copy/paste into notepad and then copy/paste from notepad back into the preview box it works.


I think it's because sometimes there's a non-printable character in the preview text that the system can't handle.
