Thanks guys, glad you liked it.
Believe it or not, narrowband is easier to process in some ways because its so arbitrary and subjective. The "art" part is fun.

Lovely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Fred, is a Modified Toucam capable of capturing images in similiar colours using a Narrow-band Filter?

Hi Ken
Colour web cams have RGB filters right on the sensor, so it would be hard or impossible I think.
Some mono security video cams use IR illumination ,so would be sensitive to Ha (Jaycar does them too I think), I would imagine with a long exposure mod that would work well.

Ken
you might like to check Jim Thommes site..he has done a lot of amazing things with a modified webcam, using narrow band filters. Jim has moved on recently to a more advanced camera -an Artemis- but look at his archives for some examples of his work with a basic webcam and filters

Thanks Narayan,
I am familiar with Jims site. He had a Toucam SC3.
I am only using an SC1.
I have never seen any Toucam shots on his site using a Narrow-band Filter.
I like his Artemis shots :)
