Baader 8-24mm Mark III Zoom with 1.25" & 2" Adapters

Baader zoom eyepiece Mark III - 8mm to 24mm. Great condition. All glass surfaces are nice and clean. Smooth zoom function.

Comes with twist-up eye guard, adapters for 1.25" and 2" focusers, and all dust caps. The original leatherette bag is torn around the drawstring, the bag has seen better days.

This was quickly becoming my first-choice eyepiece. Selling due to recently purchasing a new Mark IV model.

What's the field of view angle?

Hi Robert, thanks for your message.

Looking up the spec. sheet, the apparent field of view (afov) for each incremental zoom 'stop' is:

8mm yields 68deg
12mm is 63deg
16mm, 58deg
20mm, 53deg; &
24mm, 48 degs.

I seldom used the 24mm setting, it is a little narrow for my liking - all others are fine (for me, anyway).
