View Full Version here: : I am a professional hacker
Hi Guys, Alice received this message on her I Pad yesterday, which said "I am a professional hacker, "your accounts have now been Accessed"
This was just what was available to read before opening the message, we didn't and just deleted it.
Should we be worried.

Sounds like an attempt to worry you into giving access.
If they did have access there would be no reason to announce it.
Greg.
Gosh Leon, from the thread title, I thought you were finally revealing your superpowers.

If it was the usual message that's been doing the rounds, the sender would have carried on to say they've hacked all your machines, installed a "driver-level malware" that can't be detected and they used your webcam to record you watching porn. Followed by a demand to send some amount of BitCoin or they'll release the video to all your contacts.
It's a BS spam that's been doing the rounds for years now, and you did the right thing in deleting it.
Cheers,
V

Scam, next time block the sender...
Thanks Guys we did expect it was crap, but thought i would just ask anyway.
Alice and I are very vigilant when it comes to these sort of things and anything that looks out of the ordinary is not opened and deleted right away.;)

Funny enough I was starting to feel left out, but I have received about a dozen copies of that one in the last 24 hours from different email addresses and one from "Amazon" that "We have detect unusual login on your account which we have lock for safe and if you do not follow link it can never be unlock."
You would reckon they would at least get someone who speaks whatever language as their first to proof read it before they spray out a couple of million iterations.
Your right Paul and instant give away, there are so many people out there that just want to steal what ever you have, it is pretty sad really.
