Quick lunar session last night with the c14/bionviewers- conditions were variable but had some nice views at 180x. Not fully illuminated but Clavius was the real standout so as the clouds rolled in I managed to grab a quick capture before packing up. Not my best, not my worst, but really nice to be enjoying some clear sky for a change!

EDIT- processed the 5% stack output - looks a bit sharper to my eye...

Nice close up image of this crater David - a lot of frames taken.

Cheers,

Thanks mate- yeah I pretty much just left the avi running to get as many as possible since the clouds were rolling over and the seeing was so up/down. Just re-processed with the 5% stack - a bit sharper to my eye and only slightly more noise

A very nice “quickie”, David. The C14 certainly gets you up “close and personal” to the Moon.

Thanks guys much appreciated! I find it really intriguing how the same lunar features take on a completely new look as the illumination changes (even slightly). The shadow off the central peak in Moretus was stunning too!
