Had a go at NGC 5128 a few nights ago from my newly built roll of roof observatory.
Not the cleanest image, I messed up my flats and darks a bit when i tool them.
38 x 180 second exposures
asi2600mc no filters, gain 101 at -15c
Esprit 150
Next time i will pay a bit more attention when taking the calibration frames.

That’s great Peter! Fantastic detail through the core and you picked up the blue mohawk too. Nice job!

Peter,
An excellent Centaurus A exposing some nice faint detail either end of the main core structure
Well done !!
Sorry to hear you’re still having a bit of trouble with calibration on the 2600MC , it took me months and months to nail it and now it’s normal routine which works beautifully.
Also the 2600MC has negligible dark current even cooled to -5C , to save you a bit of wait time during cooling process -10C is more than adequate, I’ve used -10C since I’ve had the camera ( August 2020 ) and it’s perfectly fine for 30 sec to + 300sec subs
Cheers

Thanks for all the comments, appreciated.
I think i may be onto the calibration issues with the asi2600mc.
Just got to wait for some more clear skies to try them out.
Fantastic shot Peter, the detail is superb.
I took the proffered advice and use just bias and flats for the 2600mc, one of the many joys of the imx571.
