Finally some clear nights ahead on the east coast of NSW after a miserable 2022 with La Niña
Tonight in Sydney is clear , reasonable seeing , light wind to keep to dew at bay until late
The weekend and most of next week is looking promising , fingers crossed
Oh and no moon around too
Enjoy if your out observing or imaging
Cheers

Clear skies AND the new moon, an extremely rare astronomical event...

Too right, after a a bit of a mixed grill of a night last night, Eagleview is sure turning it on tonight  Two stars visible in the Coal Sack, the Milky Way looks like a huge bright Brontasaurus rising, full of a miriad of dark rivulets!.. and the LMC is huuuge with its outer sprial like arms noticable! Meridian seeing has cracked 1.5" too...woohoo...hope you are all enjoying yourselves too

It's just hit -6C but low humidity so no dew, just a very fine frost...beeeaaautiful! :)
Ave guiding errors less than 0.2 arc sec = good seeing :)
