It is just incredible how many one can encounter during an imaging session. It needs to be controlled

Just wondering, I didn't do much observing over the winter months and just a visual newbie. Been active again since mid August. Seemed like I was seeing 2-3 per hour before that. They have not been so obvious lately, to me anyway. I have only been observing planets from city skies so far. I remember Musk saying they were going to start using a non reflective coating. Anyone else noticing a difference or just me?

That illustration, alarmingly, brings this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OiGjUaGGjLE) to mind...

Well so much for that theory. Spent a couple of hours looking south from my shed attempting to lessen random light and saw about half a dozen.
