Calling all Astrophotographers…

This year, the Australian Photographic Prize (https://australianphotographicprize.com.au/astrophotography-competition/) has two new astrophotography categories, Astro Landscape & Astro Deep Space.

The top 25 of each will be judged publicly in Melbourne by an expert panel, including "Strongman" Mike Sidonio & Dr. Tanya Hill Senior Curator, Astronomy at Museum Victoria (Planetarium), and broadcast live on YouTube.

Following the final judging on July 21st, Mike Sidonio will be giving a special presentation before the Awards ceremony. (Tickets are on sale for this fully catered event now). (https://australianphotographicprize.com.au/product/astro-photography/")

You could win one of two William Optics Redcat 51’s from Sidereal Trading!

Entries open June 1st 2023.

Spread the word far & wide; folks - International entries are welcome too. :)

Hi Nik,
The Awards Portal (located top right on the website menubar) opens on June 1st. There will also be an online critique night in advance, I'll post the schedule for that event soon. :)

Cheers
Andy
