Hi all, well i downloaded Registax 3 & had a play around last night.I stacked only10 LPI images of Saturn to see what would happen & the result, although being far from perfect, was ok for my very 1st attempt. The left pic is the raw image...http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/makemineameade/regi-saturn.jpg

That's great Robin! Nice and sharp, given how low it must've been for you.

The colours are very "neutral".. can you increase the saturation during your capture?

A very good first image, you should be very happy!

Excellent first, second or tenth image Robin. :2thumbs: I think you might have to quit now or there could be some performance anxiety appearing around here. :cool2:

Hey better than my sixth attempt. Very nice image, colour is a little off, but the image is real sharp and has good detail in the planetary belts.

Keep the good work up.

Thanks to you all guys.As i said, it was simply a test using a bunch of already taken LPI pics.Just wanted to see if i could glean any more detail from them. Can't wait to fully explore Registax' capabilities.....
BTW...is version 2 easier than 3 or has 3 just got a few more do-dads?It all seems pretty straight forward.

Version 3 is much much better.. better algorithms, better functionality and much much faster.
