It certainly was a wonderful experience, and beautiful pictures peter.
I will never get the sight of those cliffs out head when we used to visit them on our travels, but never saw them as you have.

Very cool Peter! Your pictures are just stunning. We were fortunate to secure a place in the lush green oasis of the overflow camp sight AKA Red Dirt City An interesting experience is all I can say.

Still a truely magical experience and now has me hooked, I will ensure much better planning for 2028 and will not be missing it. Logistically from Perth it will take some careful planning, but will be well worth it with a longer totality period and a few more choices as to where to view.

Thank you all for your positive comments. It was quite the expedition.

Had to wrangle with my car insurers over the windscreen. They were trying to pedal an
"Australian Standard" windscreen as an acceptable replacement.

As it did not have the OEM IR blocking and noise attenuation
they had to grudgingly agree to install the genuine article
as an "aftermarket" screen could not be sourced with the same spec.
(pays to read the policy fine-print)

Anyway I added a few more piccy's at the same URL (http://www.atscope.com.au/BRO/gallery613.html)
